🎹 About The Piano Studio
Founded in 2018 by Lindsay Garvin-Daniels, The Piano Studio brings together her lifelong love of teaching, performing, and piano technology into a welcoming, independently run space for learners of all ages.
Lindsay is a self-employed qualified piano technician and qualified teacher (QTS) with a Master’s in Music Industry Management and Promotion (Distinction) and a PGDE in Secondary Music. She works six days a week, tuning pianos across the Fylde, teaching both at the studio in Cleveleys and at a local primary school in Blackpool. She personally maintains the studio, instruments, and manages all day-to-day operations, including scheduling and invoicing, which are handled efficiently through My Music Staff.
The studio rents two secure, well-equipped teaching rooms, furnished with high-quality digital and acoustic pianos, including a Yamaha CLP-845 and Yamaha B1 upright, both purchased new in 2025 from Park Pianos. All instruments are personally owned and professionally maintained.

Both teachers operate in fully subcontracted roles, are paid per session, and have no financial or managerial interest in the business.
