🎹 About The Piano Studio
Founded in 2018 and owned by Lindsay Garvin-Daniels, The Piano Studio brings together her lifelong love of teaching, performing, and piano technology into a welcoming, independently run space for learners of all ages.
Lindsay is a qualified piano technician and teacher with extensive experience in music education. She tunes and maintains pianos across the Fylde, and manages her own piano school in Cleveleys.
The studio has well-equipped teaching rooms, furnished with high-quality digital and acoustic pianos, including a Yamaha CLP-845 and Yamaha B1 upright, both purchased new in 2025 from Park Pianos. All instruments are personally owned and professionally maintained.
Lindsay is the sole owner and operator of the business, proudly running it as an independent small enterprise. Working as a sole trader and self-employed professional, she personally manages all scheduling and invoicing using My Music Staff, an online platform built specifically for music schools.
There are three teachers in total at The Piano School:
• Lindsay Garvin-Daniels — Piano Tuner and Teacher (owner).
• David Garvin-Daniels — Yamaha & Steinway Concert Technician, employed part-time.
• Mike Taylor — teaches jazz, pop, boogie-woogie and modern piano styles as a self-employed subcontractor.
